tedsstudio.com Shady Oaks Camp Ground. This is the campground just outside of Bucksport, (the Real Bugsport) where my family and I stay when we got out East. This is where I came up with the idea for Bugsport. The campground is owned and operated by the real Don Nelson and his wife Joyce. This is the cleanest, nicest campground in the entire state.
